Plan the work then work the plan

Last month, on November 22, we were talking about victory versus victimhood and how you were going to close the year but more importantly how you’re going to start the new one. Have you given it some thoughts? I hope so because we all know what happens to “New year good resolutions” planned in the last minute.

When you leave on vacations, do you usually have no idea where you’re going and how you gonna get there, or do you have a plan? Do you know where you’re going, how to get there, how long it’s going to take, the kind of clothes you need to pack, what sort of things you’ll be able to do once there…? Well yeah sure you gonna say, of course I know where I’m going in holidays … funny though how you can be quite organized about your holidays, about your daily life, yet have mostly no clue about what is it that you really want in your life, next year, 5 years from now, 10 years from now, where will you be?

And okay I know it’s all about the “live in the now” and carpe diem these days, and I agree with that, we should be in the moment, truly enjoy every moment because it is the only thing that exist, all the rest is gone or probabilities. Now it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t know what you want for yourself, the life you want, the person you want to be. You can be here right now and still planning the future. And you can’t do that without a plan, just like you can’t say “I will be in Paris tomorrow night” without a vehicle and a map.

So NOW is the perfect moment to do that, most of you probably will be in holiday next week and between Christmas and New Year, don’t tell me you will be busy every single day or moment of the day and if you say so that’s BS and you know it, anyway you’ll have time to reflect on your life and your expectations. Think about your life today, is it really what you had expected or even planned, aren’t they things you have always dreamed about, what about the person you always wanted to become… Put that on paper and before the 31 I’ll share with you a simple yet amazing and fun technique you’ll be able to apply on New Year’s eve to help you manifest these things.

Then when 2010 will start, you will be totally ready to work your plan (positive thinking and affirmations are good but it ain’t gonna work if you just sit there hoping) and make it happen!

Let’s go plan now 🙂
